My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Hama, a Korean restaurant in Oakwood, Leeds, on Valentine's Day. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The venue itself was gorgeous, featuring high ceilings and subtle decorations that added to the romantic ambiance. For starters, we chose the Seaweed Salad and Prawn Kanpungi. The seaweed had an unusual texture but was absolutely delicious, while the prawns were full of flavour and perfectly cooked. For our main course, we enjoyed the Beef Bulgogi, served with two portions of rice. The beef was tender and succulent, making it a standout dish. However, the highlight of our meal was the Soft Tofu Stew. It had the perfect mix of heart-warming spice, flavours, and textures, making it the best dish we tried that evening. Overall, Hama provided us with a memorable dining experience, and we look forward to returning soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine in a beautiful setting.

This was our second time here. Big menu with many options, good vegetarian and pescatarian options. We didn’t like sitting downstairs the first time but the upstairs this time was much nicer. Staff are very prompt and nice. Love the food and will definitely be back!

Wanted to try some proper Korean food and heard that their food is very nice. Went with 2 friends and we were all amazed by how delicious their food was. We ordered 4 starters and thought we couldn't finish but ended up ordering another starter when we were having the main course! The potion is a bit small otherwise we would have been too stuffed to move.

My wife and I had been planning to have lunch at Hama for a while, since it’s a bit far from our home. It was definitely worth taking the time to go there. The food was amazing, with lots of traditional Korean dishes and drinks. The staff were really friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We absolutely loved it!

Great Korean restaurant. Good menu with photos so you can see the meal. Great choice available and large portions. Had only just opened so it was very quiet. Would be good to have a really good quality cocktail bar downstairs and outside too as there is lots of space. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. A bit too much rice for me with the main course, but thats just personal preference.

The most authentic Korean restaurant in Leeds. Good vibe place and the staff were very friendly. They would explain well about different sorts of dishes if you are not familiar with Korean food. On top of it, the food was amazing. I’d definitely visit again next time I’m in Leeds.

Brilliant restaurant. Food & drinks were packed with flavour and perfectly made. Lovely & neat presentation of the food. A beautiful, child friendly clean venue in a great location with lots of free parking on street near by. Staff were polite and courteous.

Had an enjoyable experience at Hama Restaurant! The atmosphere is one-of-a-kind, spacious, and feels like dining in a cozy house, which adds to its charm. While the staff was efficient, the real highlight was the food. The Dolsot Bibimbap Beef arrived sizzling in a hot stone bowl, offering a perfect mix of rice, veggies, and tender beef. The TteokBokki was tasty but we’ve got only 5 rice cakes, which was not enough for one person. The Chicken Kanpungki was crispy, crunchy, and smothered in a bold, spicy sauce that was a real highlight. Overall, it’s a solid spot for Korean food with a special vibe, but a little more rice cake would’ve been great! By fishenjoylife
